Mercedes Concept A Class
Mercedes-Benz Concept A-class will be on show at this month’s Shanghai Auto Show and the A Class is likely to go on sale in 2012. It’s premium hot hatch class will put it in the same arena as the Audi A3, BMW 1-series and VW Golf. As a result, expect prices to start at around £18,000, a small hike over the outgoing car. The car’s front end harks from the company’s history, especially the split grill and scalloped skirt. However it’s side panel appears a little too moulded, evoking a cheaper Seat wannabee.
