Mark Brooks Posters
Mark Brooks’ posters utilise an optical illusion like a simplified halftone screen to depict a portrait when viewed from a distance and a pattern from up close. When a dot is added to the white cells of the base “grid” it creates the illusion of a darker tone and when viewed from a distance the human eye blends the tones to form an image. I very nice execution of a good idea with a lot of creative scope. See more here. Found via Ministry of Type.
