Machechester Civil Justice Centre

When we saw the Manchester Civil Justice Centre during the day we were impressed, but at night it really comes alive. We love the up-lighting of the various cantilevers exaggerating their feeling of weightlessness and the Mondrianesque collection of light’s created by internal partitions. The flat glass intersects the central dark section giving a feel of fair transparency that reflects the ethos and operations of the building’s occupants. It was designed by Denton Corker Marshall.
